Steinberg & Mahn remains proudly family-owned and operated.
The store was founded by Max Steinberg, who came to Timmins in search of opportunity. Soon after, his close friend Joe Mahn joined him, forming Steinberg & Mahn Ltd. The business was later passed down to Eli Steinberg, followed by Don and Anne Taylor in 1972.
Today, the store is led by Darren Taylor, representing the fourth generation of the family to carry on the tradition. Darren returned to Timmins over two decades ago to continue the legacy and ensure Steinberg & Mahn remains a trusted destination for menswear in Northern Ontario.
